Sicko...

So, we are finally starting to recover from the nasty bug that has been biting everyone in this area! A week and a half after I arrived in the states I got that sinus/cold thing that put me out for a good two weeks. It was not fun at all! I hated it for my time with Kaci because we haven't been able to do everything we were hoping to in this month while I was here. However, it has been an incredible blessing to spend this time with Kaci, James and Katelynn! Military life is a curse and a blessing sometimes. And, one of those curses is the missed opportunities for spending adequate time with family. It makes it even harder when the little ones start arriving. I never feel like I get enough time with Dylan and Katelynn. So, this past month with Katelynn has been incredible. I was blessed to get to spend time with Dylan when Brent and Crystal lived in Texas, but now that they are in California it will be a bit harder!

However, there is GOOD NEWS!! Dallas is finally coming home!! We will be complete again on Friday! He wasn't suppose to come home until Saturday, but his schedule was changed! I know he is ready to get home and we are BOTH ready to get back into our routine and to get settled in Gainesville! In other news: God is GOOD!! Everything as far as setting up my appts for preparation of the birth of our little one is falling into perfect place. I was finally able to get my appts made and scheduled this morning. I have a tour scheduled of the hospital where our surprise will be revealed and we were able to get into birthing classes. The classes I was worried about just because we will be getting there when I am 35 weeks along. So, praise God! It wouldn't have worked out this perfectly if it were left up to me. And, thank God for my friend Sandra who has proven to be a huge blessing. She has really taken a huge burden off of my shoulders by helping get me names of doctors, setting me up with the classes and even looking for houses for us!! What a great friend! So, we are heading to Gainesville on the 14th and very excited!

30 weeks....

So we have made the 30 week mark! My sister and I took some pictures of my little one! I truly have the disappearing belly! Depending on what I am wearing I barely look pregnant and two seconds later I can have something else on and look ready to POP!! So, we took two pictures to prove our point. The first one is me in my running jacket-can someone say I stuffed my shirt with a pillow? The second, all I did was literally take off the jacket, but the white shirt made all the difference. HAHAHA!! We just love poking fun at my changing figure!! =) I just hope Baby Gipson doesn't get a complex!

Also, I have finally picked our bedding for the crib! I had chosen one from Target because I really didn't think I would have time to look for one when I got home, but I was wrong. The weekend after I got home I found a bedding I love! So, I thought I would share pictures with everyone!! Since I don't have a house yet you will have to make due with a picture I found online and one I took in the store!

Decatur Baby Shower...

This past weekend Kaci, Katelynn and I headed up to Decatur to see my side of the family and to have a baby shower. We were only there one night, but it was so great to see everyone!! My sister made the shower so great! She decorated so beautifully, had great food and came up with some really fun games!! One was the belly measuring game which is always fun, but she added a little twist to it! When she gave the string to the guests they had to pick blue if they thought I will be having a boy and pink if they thought I will be having a girl!! The room was pretty split in their decisions!! I guess in 10 weeks we will know!

Baby Gipson received so many nice things, and has proof that it is very much loved before he/she even arrives!! Thanks to everyone who could be there!

Pics of home...

I visited my mom and dad this weekend. It was so wonderful to see them and just spend time with them. It was a crazy weekend. Now that I have been back in Arkansas my body is starting to recover from all the travel. I arrived in Cabot last Wed. night and then headed down to Biloxi, Mississippi Thursday night. What normally is a 7hr drive took us 9hrs. I drove most of the way because on the way down there my sister got REALLY sick. The driving wasn't a problem, except it meant another 9hrs sitting without good circulation. Needless to say the puffiness, I believe, has made a permanent fixture in my pregnancy and will hang on for the long run. Especially after doing that trip again on Monday to come back to Cabot. However, I would take all of this swelling again to have this opportunity to see everyone. It is so wonderful to finally be able to share the pregnancy with family and old friends. Also, I was so glad to be able to go to Dad's farwell party at Keesler. They had such amazing things to say about him. They mentioned so many things I never knew he did. I love that he is humble and gives credit to others, but it was nice to finally know what he had accomplished! I have to tell you I was overwhelmingly proud of him that night and to be his daughter!

I have a few pictures of my time there. Unfortunately I didn't get any with me and my dad, but I will after this weekend. I will post those when I get them.

Oh, and we are 95% sure we are heading to Gainesville, Florida in March. Wahoo! Dallas got his official acceptance to the University of Florida and was told by his detailer that they will let him move there and work with the ROTC unit until he has to start school in August. I say, 95% sure, because anything can happen. He is waiting on the official orders and until he has those in hand we still reserve a little room for change. BUT, I am already preparing my system for Gator Nation (might cause a great shock!) and preparing for the wonderful blessing of getting to find a house and get somewhat settled before our little surprise arrives in April. Thanks to all of you for your prayers over this time of waiting!!
